The CS-920 High-Frequency Infrared Carbon-Sulfur Analyzer features an integrated design and is available in two versions: a touchscreen model and a PC-based model. The instrument uses a high-frequency induction furnace or a tubular resistance furnace (referring to the dual-furnace configuration) to combust samples, releasing carbon dioxide and sulfur dioxide gases. These gases are detected by infrared absorption detectors at specific wavelengths to measure the concentrations of carbon dioxide and sulfur dioxide, and specialized software then calculates the mass fractions of carbon and sulfur based on these gas concentrations.
